Brad & Aimee have a suprise!!!

Okay Aimee met a teacher at her school that had adopted a native Alaskan baby a few years ago. She gave us the idea of how to put together a letter and how to send them to all the native tribes in Alaska. We sent the letters in December, about Christmas time we got a letter from a family in Lake Clark area that received our letter by mistake They had adopted over 8 kids from OCS in Anchorage and they gave us their case workers name and number and said that if Anne calls you, she has something big to tell you.

Well we got a call from her last week and we went and met her on Saturday and the foster mom of the 2 new kids that we are getting. They are brother and sisters ages 3 and 4 and they are adoptable after 6 months, we are going to foster them and adopt when we are eligible to do so. The little boy is 2 going on 3 next month his name is Javon, and Kayisha is 4 turning 5 in October. The Mom and the Dad had thier rights terminated and the foster mom that is taking care of them now is in her 50's and is single and dose not want to adopt them. We met them on Saturday and they are the cutest kids ever.

They are half Alaskan native and half black, they are just so cute. We heard from our case worker today and we are going to be able to start spending some time at nights with them and then get in a few weeks. We have an instant family coming. I will get you some pictures as soon as we get them and are able to get a few to you.

That is great. Adopting is an amazing experience, we are fostering Isabelle right now and are waiting our 6 months to finalize it. We are super excited for both of you. We really do not have any advice since your kids will be quite a bit older then ours. Congratulations!

Thanks for all the support. We are way excited and a lot scared. We know that it is what we are supposed to do and can't wait to have them in our home.
