We floated the little Nelchina river to the Big Nelchina river to Tazlina lake which is a Glacier feed river. The weather has been so hot this summer that the river was up 7-8 feet higher then any of the others have ran it before. This made it a class 3 and 4 section on the Tazlina River..

What a fun and scary activity for those scouts!! I bet it was a memorable trip though. My husband did that with our scouts last year, and he even got thrown overboard.
